Healing is an active process.

In case of a tragedy, our life force, our energy field, and our entire body/mind system is in shock, nothing is ever the same from this moment forward, but that’s how we evolve and that’s how life is, with that being said we also undergo healing and happiness.

Depending on the level of trauma it will take us a few days, weeks, sometimes months, and maybe a year to go back to a “normal” state of being.

It is of best use to deal with what happens immediately, such as seeking help, or letting it out, expressing and grieving the loss, allowing ourselves to fully recover, because if we repress it or just let it pass by, we will feel better after a while apparently, but we will always remember what happens if not consciously, it will surely be stored in our subconsciousness.

Many times we don’t know how to deal with emotions, we haven’t learned how to show compassion and empathy towards ourselves and or others, we follow the given course and let the time go by as we have believed for so long that time heals everything…

Sorry, but No, it doesn’t!

Truth is, when we do not understand and transmute the negativity, we will then have beliefs surrounding it, and they are not usually healthy nor good for us or anyone around, understandably it is our first response, our protective mechanism, in order for us to not get hurt or experience pain again we shut down.

However, we keep on repeating or reliving that specific moment over and over, although with different people and experiences,  because deep down our soul is crying for help.

We see it reflected in our relationships and life events, it is like telling us please pay attention to me

So it is advisable to be proactive in our process of recovery, to write, talk about it, be mindful, be aware and then let it go with understanding, love, and forgiveness, that’s how we can be in charge once again.

Unfortunately, we cannot control life, but we have a choice in turning bitter encounters into light and great wisdom.

If we try to skip digesting and processing the issue while it is still hot, we will try to avoid it at all costs, and especially we will refuse to talk about it or even mention it.

Thus, we have to deal with it before it becomes a monster inside and it eats us through depression, addictions, self-destructive behaviors.

Ironically, when we do so, we will walk on eggshells, frightened and living with limited beliefs, we will become a magnet for similar dynamics, attracting what we don’t want, manifesting from a place of fear instead of love.

Healing is an active process, I totally understand that it is hard and it takes time, trust me I have been there, sometimes it is a lifelong journey.

It is certainly not beautiful to face a situation that caused us tremendous pain, but only by doing that we can set ourselves free and release the burden, the stagnant feelings so we can allow things to flow naturally and we can have a more positive and peaceful relationship with life.

I do not want to sound pessimistic or make anyone feel bad, we are here to help and uplift one other.

Writing and many other healing modalities, have opened up a great opportunity to arise, a great map for me to bring onto the surface stuff from childhood and probably other lifetimes, so as to stop projecting those fears and triggers outside.

Another one that I am currently working on is EFT, (emotional freedom technique, find videos and or information online regarding), there are several ways we can take responsibility for our own well-being, we just have to be willing to do some shadow work and liberate ourselves.

I believe in you, I know you can do it, and you, you are not alone!
