How to release physical and emotional trauma?

Trauma causes us to disconnect from our emotions, from our body, makes us defensive, we don’t trust our emotions, our intuition any longer, thus we cannot trust others either and vice versa.

Unfortunately, in one way or the other we experience these little shocks or big ones it depends on how much we get involved in the traumatic event.

Life happens, we cannot escape, but we can release ourselves from the blockages that we hold in our system, due to that reason we have to practice self-care, just like we clean the house, we need to clean our body/mind for a healthier way of living.

Sometimes we are so desperate and so busy trying to fix things, trying to move on, and manipulate others or circumstances for us to get what we want.

There are millions of videos and books on how to do such, it is easier to pretend nothing is wrong than to do any self-reflection.

However, what we don’t realize is that many times we just need to step back, be grounded, focus on ourselves, and heal before going forward.

We don’t want to ever look back, but we carry the heaviness of what happened with us.

The past has a reason and a purpose so take your time, be kind to yourself, analyze past experiences without fear nor judgment and then with forgiveness, compassion, and wisdom you can let go, and look into the future with a better vision.

It is a healthier approach one step back, two forward, rather than the other way around.

A simple exercise with affirmations that helps:
I feel whole, loved, and safe in my body.
I am healed and released from any trauma physically and emotionally.
I am free of any traumatic experience.
My body is filled with love.
My body and mind are balanced
My body and mind are in perfect alignment
I feel whole loved and safe in my body
So it is.

For greater results, do this at least once a day for 21 days (5-10 minutes).

Sit in a comfortable position, close your eyes and wrap your hands in an X position around your chest, just like hugging yourself and repeat the affirmations until you feel them entering your body, mind, and your energy field.

Drink water and repeat as necessary.
